Getting to Know: Ryan Naff
For anybody who knows me, my passion has always been sports. From the days of kindergarten soccer and county league baseball to high school soccer, golf and intramural sports in college, I have always found myself staying connected with sports. I have also been fortunate enough to attend many different sporting events. From National Championship football games, professional golf tournaments, horse races, hockey games, baseball games and nascar events, I have seen just about anything a young man from Southwest Virginia could dream about.
In my first ever blog, I will attempt to rank some of my experiences thus far. Not only will I discuss the event itself, but will include the city, the town, and the people that all made each of these experiences unique. I didn't just visit the stadium or track. I usually found one or two places that locals would say "you have got to eat there", or "don't leave town without seeing this". Each venue had its own personality, history, and culture....things that made each place stand out.
Narrowing my adventures to a top ten list was difficult. You will not read about a preseason San Diego Charger game, a race at Darlington or the Greebrier Classic. I couldn't include them all, but they narrowly missed the cut.
Hopefully reading about some of the places I visited will entice you to plan a trip. I have narrowed my adventures to 10, ranking them from 1 to 10. And number 10 is.......
